Read & Publish Agreement 2026-2028: Update on the negotiations
The negotiations with SAGE Publishing for the SAGE Read & Publish Agreement 2026-2028 started early 2025 and have not yet resulted in a mutually acceptable agreement. As the current agreement ends on 31 December 2025, preparations were put in place for a no-deal scenario as of 2026.
A no-deal situation will affect both reading and publishing within the SAGE portfolios. This overview describes the consequences for reading and publishing and provides answers to frequently asked questions.
